Mangaluru: AICS cultural programme held at Prestige International School, PU College

Mangaluru, Oct 22: AICS cultural programme for senior secondary schools of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada was held at Prestige International School, Jeppina Mogeru on October 19.

The cultural programme 'Cult-O-Fiesta' was organised to encourage students to represent Indian culture for the betterment of society.

The chief guest film artiste Deepak Rai Panaje, inaugurated the opening ceremony of 'Cult-o-Fiesta' and appreciated the importance given to Indian culture through school activities.

Guests of honour artiste YouTube star Gaana Bhat and Kantara movie fame Swaraj Shetty applauded the efforts put in by AICS and Prestige International school in giving young talent a stage to shine and display culture through their eyes.

Prestige International School and PU College chairman Hyder Ali along with the management and principal Feroza Fayaz accompanied the chief guest Deepak Rai and the guests of honour to inaugurate the opening ceremony through lighting of the lamp.

There were 11 schools participating from ICSE and CBSE Grade 11 and 12 from Dakshina Kannada And Udupi districts.

The competitions conducted were Mime Incredible India, Fashion Show Attire Spectra, Photography The Artsy Lens and Face Painting Cheeky Brush held at the beautiful Prestige International School campus auditorium.

The felicitation of the winners was held during the valedictory ceremony. The Championship was won by the host school Prestige International school.

The students’ efforts and success was appreciated by Prestige International School chairman Hyder Ali who encouraged students to take initiative in competitions and enjoy the experience.

It was a beautiful opportunity provided by the association of ICSE and CBSE schools to promote the budding artists in schools.
