Mangaluru: Traditional Day celebrated at Rosa Mystica PU College Kinnikambala

Mangaluru, Oct 22: Rosa Mystica PU College Kinnikambala celebrated the Traditional Day with great gusto and enthusiasm. The students came fully clad in their traditional dress. Their attire looked simply amazing as they collectively displayed and array of colors that reflected the diversity of India.

Event began with imploring god's blessings through a prayer song and then students from class 12 presented the welcome dance Carmela tauro expressed words of welcome.

Jason Monteiro was the guest of honor to the programme. The chief guest and the principal Sr Sadhana along with faculty inaugurated the ceremony in very special and traditional way.

The chief guest Jason Montero in his speech to the students said that to make right use of social media because those platforms helps the young minds to collect the information right in their hands which helps them to choose right career for life.

Students who had participated in state level sports meet and brought glory to the college were felicitated by the chief guest of the programme. Sr Sadhana, the principal appreciated students and motivated them to build good culture and encouraged them to protect our tradition.

The second part of the event was traditional ramp walk. All the participants were anxious and excited to win the title of Mystican and Mystican. Participants took up the challenge and participated enthusiastically. Riya Cutinha and Ronald D’Souza won the top honours.

The programmeconcluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Esha D’Souza and compered by Fernandez.
