Bengaluru, Oct 23: JD(S) deputy leader in the Assembly Bandeppa Kashempur has extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Kittur Rani Chennamma.

In a message to the people on Twitter, Kashempur wished that the valour of the heroic lady Kittur Rani, who wielded a sword to protect her kingdom and people from the British, may be role model for the youth to be courageous.
