Mangaluru: 5th Mike Simon Nite by HFF, Laity Apostolate Commission enthralls audience

Mangaluru, Oct 24: The Don Bosco Hall in the city was jam packed with Konkani music lovers and fans of Konkani world's veteran singer Mike Simon as his popular songs reverberated during the landmark ‘ 5th Mike Simon Nite’ presented by Humanity First Foundation and Laity Apostolate Commission, Angelore.

The musical concert was exclusively dedicated to Late Sharon Alva who served as the national vice president of HFF.The packed audience at the venue was treated to a plethora of popular melodies composed and penned by Mike Simon himself.

Apart from the musical extravaganza, the evening consisted of spectacular dances and rib tickling jokes.  Fr William Menezes. parish priest, Angelore church, presided over the formal stage programme. David D'Souza, proprietor, DCONS Group, Praveen Tauro, marketing manager, Daijiworld Media, Elias Fernandes, director, Fourwinds Mangaluru, Santhosh Sequeira, proprietor, Santhosh Arrangers, Richard Moras, coordinator, Konkani Lekhak Sangh, Stanly Bantwal, proprietor, Anvita Photography and Ancita Videography were present as chief guests.

 

Along with Mike Simon, well-known singers of Konkani, Claud D'Souza, Ivan Sequira, Zeena Periera, Joseph Pinto, Precilla Sequira, Melinda Periera, Rajesh Misquith, Bindu Cutinha, Olinda Lobo, Disha Moras, Ria enthralled the audience with their singing. Popular VJs Jude Noronha and Floyd D'Mello compered the show in a unique way.Team Maskiri led by Joseph Pinto created laughter moments in between the songs and the audience enjoyed them very well. Pappan and Joswin provided music for the show.   

Rajesh Misquith welcomed the dignitaries and gathering while Noel Pinto proposed a vote of thanks.
