Mangaluru: 'Koti Kanta' Geetha Gayana organised at Mount Carmel Central School

Mangaluru, Oct 28: On the occasion of 67th Kannada Rajyotsava and as per the guidelines of the state government, Mount Carmel Central School organised “Koti Kanta” Geetha Gayana programme on Friday, October 28 at 11 am in the school.

The principal Sr Melissa accorded a warm welcome to the staff and students and briefed them about the programme.

The “Koti Kanta” Geetha Gayana started with the school choir singing the Karnataka State Anthem followed by 4 more kannada songs depicting the culture and glory of Karnataka.

The staff and the students joined the choir in singing these songs from their classrooms. At the end, Kannada teacher Ashwini thanked everyone who cooperated in organising the programme.
