Puttur, Oct 29: The railway police here arrested a man who was resting on a railway track. He was fined and produced in the court.

This strange incident is reported from Mura. Dinesh, resident of Paddayoor, working as a labourer, is the accused arrested.

Dinesh was sleeping on the railway track in the night. In the meantime, a passenger train from Mangaluru to Bengaluru arrived on the track. Locals who heard the train approaching, woke Dinesh up and made him sleep a little away from the track.

The strange and shocking incident was made viral on social media. A social worker tweeted the matter to railway service centre. Railway police who swung into action arrested the accused and produced him in the court.

    May be he couldn't get rest in his home in peace & he thought on railway track he would either get Rest In Peace or in Pieces permanently. Either he is mentally disturbed or inebriated. He will get good work next year during elections with daily allowance of money, biryani & a bottle for peace.

    Dev Mangalore ,it looks like he was not in a state to recognize where is house or where he is lying.In in a full drunken state he felt sleeping and slept.His luck locals woke him up and made him to sleep away.He must thank them for his life.These workers have only one thing make happy ,alcohol and alcohol again.No responsibility of family life .no savings ,no home.no education self or children-what brings this fine from Govt.?
