Islamabad, May 9 (IANS) Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani will address parliament Monday over the US commando raid at Abbottabad in which Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed, a media report said.
The News International said that Gilani will take the nation into confidence over the May 2 operation carried out by US commandos who flew undetected into Abbottabad in helicopters.
Gilani Saturday held consultations, among others, with President Asif Ali Zardari and army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on the situation out of the daring Abbotabad operation.
It was decided that Gilani will take the nation into confidence through parliament Monday, the media report said.
During the meetings, Gilani stressed that only criteria for formulating the government's stance is safeguarding Pakistan's supreme national interests.
