Udupi: Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrated at Christ School

Udupi, Nov 1: Karnataka Rajyotsava was celebrated at Christ School Manipal on Tuesday, November 1. The programme began with a prayer service led by the students.

Yogish Kulal welcomed the gathering. Fr Romeo Lewis, school  correspondent spoke about the importance of celebrating Karnataka Rajyotsava. He encouraged students to learn Kannada along with English. The students were encouraged to speak in Kannada to show respect to the state language. Students showcased their talent and exhibit their love for their state, Karnataka and enthusiastically participated in various cultural events.

Ridhi spoke on the importance of Kannada Rajyotsava. The amazing facts about Karnataka added to the knowledge of the audience. The students were able to spread the fragrance of Kannada language with their spectacular dance performance. 

Eliza Vaz, principal of Christ School wished all the best. Sannidhi compered the program, Danice proposed a vote of thanks. The event generated a sense of pride in the minds of the audience, for being part of a rich and vibrant culture.
