Mangaluru: Milagres Central School celebrates Karnataka Rajyotsava

Mangaluru, Nov 2: The celebration of 67th Karnataka Rajyotsava was held on November 1 in Milagres Central School, Mangaluru with great enthusiasm. The students of higher primary and high school hosted this programme.

The chief guest of the programme was the principal of the school Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes. Addressing the gathering he said about the variety of Kannada dialects present around. "Kannada language is the one thing that keeps us all united. We should always strive to use and promote this language everywhere."

The main highlight of the programme was a group song sung melodiously by the students. MC Darshan executed the programme, Bhavish welcomed the gathering, Oliver Rayan Braggs spoke about the importance of the day, Nitish Kumar expressed gratitude and the programme was concluded by singing Nada Geete by the students. The teaching, non-teaching staff, and students were present for the programme.
