Puttur: Bus-motorcycle collision – 19-year-old seriously injured

Puttur, Nov 3: In an accident that occurred on Wednesday November 2 near old forest check post at Uppinangady, a motorcycle rider was seriously injured as his two wheeler was hit by a KSRTC bus.

Bharath Kumar (19), a resident of Bedrodi in Bajathoor village is the motorcycle rider who is seriously injured. He was working in a petrol pump and was proceeding towards Uppinangady on some work.

Due to the impact of the accident, the motorcycle came under the rear wheels of the bus and got damaged completely. Bharath was admitted to a private hospital in Puttur.

Puttur traffic police have registered the case.

    Not even a day pass of without the news of an accident in our area? Root cause over speeding. Drive very carefully and slowly. We need to look differently at driving Police must catch over speeding drivers and punish them with fine and arrest then only we can avoid accidents. India needs to have safe driving .     Govt is busy with forming strong laws against muslims only. Govt is not bothered about anything else. Development bhaad me jaye!!!!
