Mangaluru, Nov 3: Muhurat of Tulu movie ‘Gabbar Singh’, produced under the banner Gopal Films by Barkur Satish Poojary and directed by Pradeep Baikadi, had taken place two years ago and shooting was not done due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Later, the screenplay was comprehensively changed and a new touch was given to the movie by the producer and director. Now the filming of the movie is complete and dubbing is in its last stages as per the information provided by producer Satish Poojary Barkur. Shooting was carried on for 40 days in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.

Gabbar Singh which is produced at a high cost, has four fights composed by stunt master Shivu of Ugram fame. Ravi Suvarna has done the cinematography. Editing is done by Rahul. Music is provided by Dolwin. Pushparaj Rai and Jairaj are the assistant directors. Madhu Suratkal is the supervisor.

The cast of the movie has Sharan Shetty, Vencita, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Girish M Shetty Kateel, Umesh Mizar, Saikrishna Kudla, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Ravirama Kunja, Chandrahasa Shetty Mani, Veena Shetty, Shilpa Shetty, Poornima Shetty, Pavithra Shetty, Asha Shetty Shibaroor, Uday Alva and Prajwal Pandeshwar.

In addition to being producer, Barkur Satish Poojary has donned an important role in the movie. Producer Poojary said that Gabbar Singh could not be released due to various reasons. Now dubbing is in its last stages and will be released in 2023 throughout coastal districts simultaneously.

Sharan Shetty, lead actor of the movie is a Kambala sport lover. In addition, he has participated in Kambala and won prizes. He also holds a black belt in Karate. He has well-chiselled physique for the movie and is working out every day for the movie. Sharan has learnt fight and swimming also. Producer Satish Poojary, who saw the love for Kambala and cinema in Sharan Shetty, who has done small roles in one or two Tulu cinemas, has given him a big opportunity.
