RIP!! The manifold rise in sudden deaths in last two years has a common, obvious, variable! Also, all of a sudden the climate has become hot and sultry leading to possible heat stroke especially if the child is not properly hydrated at regular intervals!!

I request all the school teachers not to administer any medicines to kids with fever but let them take rest in an airy room and apply a cloth dipped in water or icy water and change it frequently until their parents arrive. After corona I think all institutions have non-invasive temperature testing equipment, if not buy one with first aid kit . High temperatures can cause multi organ failure in small kids but the first aid can relieve that possibility. Recently a cough syrup is causing the same. Never self medicate and give lot of liquids to them and if possible citrus fruit juices along with tender coconut water frequently.

Dev mangalore, you say first aid kit.Does anyone knows to use it?I got a shock just four years back what in school happened in Neermarga convent school .At home one girl was having high fever at night.I told them to take to doctor and was given by doctor syrup and antibiotics .I told them not to send child to school .because child was very lethargic was not feeling well.No they said if she doesnt go to school ,teachers will make her to write next day whole three page notes .They sent her with medicine to school. There teacher gives her medicine. When I checked they gave her wrong medicine ,dosage was wrong .May be they told wrong medicine wrong dosage ?Why a small girl should write three pages even she is sick ?What type of teachers are they ?Why dont they understand ?I really feel sad about this small girls death /cardiac arrest.I dont understand this.Heartfelt sympathy to family.did they atleast made any PM?to findout reason or said yes and amen to doctors verdict.?May be this child has some meningities? Not cardiac arrest?Incardiac arrest you get high fever?May she rest with angels above?
