Build schools like Delhi, Karnataka AAP challenges ruling BJP

Bengaluru, Nov 7 (IANS): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Karnataka challenged ruling BJP on Monday to build schools on lines of how the AAP has built in New Delhi.

"This is a direct challenge to the Karnataka Education Minister. Come, visit and see how the schools are built in New Delhi by AAP. Our state President is going to take a tour and show how well they have been built. Kindly we urge you to build schools like they have been built by AAP in New Delhi, if you have the capacity to do so," the social media post by the AAP stated.

Prithvi Reddy, President of AAP's Karnataka unit, stated that we question the state government about the pathetic conditions of government Kannada medium schools in Karnataka.

"We will raise questions on why the ruling BJP is betraying poor children of the state." Prithvi Reddy further stated that he is wondering why the state government is so reserved about Kannada medium schools for children.

The post by the AAP has been tagged to the handle of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

The AAP has taken up the issue of building schools following media reports bringing to light that more than 50 junior primary schools, 50 plus Higher Primary schools, located in Tiptur taluk, which falls in the constituency of Education Minister B.C. Nagesh, are in bad shape and require repairing work.

    Dear Arvind Kejriwal Party(AKP alias AAP), Please provide evidence of how your party(i.e.: AK, the Supreme Leader) has improved the good governance of Delhi (forget rooting out corruption and governance of Punjab for now).     AAP will spoil votes of people. I suggest to AAP to work hard on ground and make aure that people are willing to vote for you. Dont just go behind people and ask for the vote bases on Delhi.

    When BJP went for the national vote (2014), it flaunted the 'Gujarat model'. Before getting elected, a party has nothing with it locally to show as an achievement - simply because, only when elected do they have any (tax) money to spend. The same thing is potentially true for AAP in Karnataka. The voters need to make them the ruling party first, wait for a few years, and then decide if AAP can deliver what they promised.

    Can you build number of Gaushalas and veterinary healthcare centers which BJP (government) has provided in Karnataka? Also, number of BD & rightwing activists recruited in the State to safeguard Hindus who are known to have been facing grave danger in the state.

    First clear your Liquor Model, Con man and his models, Class Rooms Over Pricing building models and then preach here about building schools. The way people around NCR Delhi are gasping literally for breath everybody is proof enough of your misgovernamce model. Clear all charges, come clean and then try to expand. Your stories would put veteran robbers to shame as on date.

    Oh Kede, did BJP find anything after days and days grilling Sisodia, his PA and his office by gang of murder accused Tadipar then finally let go of him??????…… BJP is very dissappointed Khoda Pahad Nikla Chooha?!?!?!.!.!.,….Now with what BJP will tarnish AAP’s image in front of people as BJP itself made its face black?!.!.!.!…..Ask your Bomma to challenge if he has guts to Shri Prithvi’s claim or face grilling like Sisodia by NIA, CBI, EC, IT etc what not at your disposal?!?!.!.!.!

    Yes, in Karnataka the double engine is closing all Government schools, if you need schools like the once we have in Delhi. Then we will have to give the present government a good beating.
