Kundapur: Auto rickshaw driver exhibits honesty – Returns Rs 12 lac worth gold to passenger

Kundapur, Nov 8: An auto rickshaw driver of Balkur Karekudru, Prakash Nayak exhibited the highest standard of honesty by returning gold ornaments worth Rs 12 lac that a woman passenger left behind while alighting from his vehicle.

Lalitha K had been to Ombathu Dandige where her house is located from Kundapur town in an auto rickshaw. After dropping her at Ombathu Dandige, auto rickshaw driver Prakash went to fill gas to his vehicle. During that time he notice gold ornaments fallen beneath the passenger seat. He immediately handed over the same to Kundapur police station.

Meanwhile, Lalitha reached home and came to know that she has lost the gold ornaments and arrived at Kundapur police station to file complaint. Police sub inspector Sadashiva Gavaroji called the auto rickshaw driver and made him hand over the gold ornaments to Lalitha.

People have appreciated the honesty of the auto rickshaw driver.

    Stay simple ..Be simple .. Women generally show off their gold ..but often lose it due to carelessness and lack of attention. It must have been bought from her husband's hard-earned money. Appreciate the male Auto driver who is honest and simple.
