Udupi: Thieves strike house at Kornagrapady, items worth Rs 63,000 stolen

Udupi, Nov 11: Thieves burgled into a house in Korangrapady in Udupi and stole valuables. As per the complaint filed by Prasad Pujari of Kornagrapady, items worth Rs. 63,000 have been stolen.

Prasad Pujari (45) stays with his family in a rented house owned by Ashwin Pereira at Bobbanpade Shetty Compound, Kornagrapady. On November, 10 between 9 am and 4 pm, thieves entered the house by breaking the back door and stole a 10 gram gold necklace and cash Rs 18,000 from the cupboard’s locker inside the house. The total value of the stolen property is Rs 63,000.

A case is registered at Udupi town police station.
