Currently, Subodh Yadvav is spending his holidays back home in Lucknow, and is expected to be back on May 17 to hand over the responsibility to the new DC.
Channappa Gowda is not new to Mangalore as he had served the region as comissionner of the city develpoment board.
Meanwhile, Udupi DC Hemalata too has been transfered to Bangalore as the director of state horticulture department, and she will be replaced by Dr M T Raju.
Hailing from Kerala, Aleppi Dr Raju is an IAS officer of the 2005 batch, currently serving as assistant deputy commissioner in Tarikeri. This is the first time he has been appointed as DC.
