Kundapur: Children’s Day celebrated at Don Bosco School Trasi

Kundapur, Nov 14: Under the title, ‘Your Love Urges Us’, the management and the staff of Don Bosco School, Trasi celebrated the Children’s Day in a grand manner throughout the day. At the beginning, the members of the management and the student representatives honoured the first Prime Minister of India with a floral tribute.

On this occasion, the following student achievers of the month were honoured and felicitated. Dhanvi Poojary received the first place in traditional as well as in “Own Choice” categories in the Karnataka State Open Yogasana Sports Championship 2022 in Bengaluru on November 13.

Master Arav Shetty of class 4 secured second place in the second SCMA All India Fide Rated Chess Tournament on November 5 and 6 at Dharwad.

Ethan D’Mello of class 4 won the first place in the 1st Invitational National Level Karate Championship held on November 6 at Subhas Nagara, Kurkal.

The Under 14 Boys Volleyball team reached the quarter finals of Udupi District Inter School Tournament.

The teachers put up fine performances with their top notch dance performances and rendition of melodious voices. A Housie game was also organized for all students. In the afternoon, the teachers conducted a variety of creative fete games for all the students. In short, the students thoroughly enjoyed the day and went back happy. The program was coordinated by Michael Dias with the cooperation from all the teachers.
