Mangaluru, Nov 15: St Aloysius College Higher Primary School organized Inter-Faith Prayer Service on November 12 in the School Auditorium. The prayer dance staged by the students, PTA members and teachers brought the audience to a prayerful atmosphere. The headmistress, Josittta Noronha welcomed the gathering.

This was followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries to give a start for the prayer service. This part of the programme was led by Anita Pais and Veena Menezes. The Singing Club students of the school joined the prayer service with melodius hymns. The PTA members, Reshma Bhat, Sabeeha Fathima and Leena D Souza read the Holy Scriptures from the Bhagavathgeetha, Quran and Bible respectively and thereafter they gave a commendable reflection of the scripture readings.

Celestine Vaz introduced the speaker of the day Brahmakumari Vishveshwari with her befitting words. Brahmakumari Vishveshwari who has dedicated her life to Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University addressed the gathering with the concept ‘One Humanity, Many Faiths’. Liya D Souza, Ashwini K, Harish and Padmanabh put up a skit emphasizing religious harmony. The harmony dance by our students added extra glamour to the show. Anita Pais thanked all who were responsible for the success of the programme. Irene Pais neatly compered the entire programme.
