Bantwal, Nov 15: Children are the world's most valuable resources and its best hope for the future. With this thought the most excited for the children was celebrated here in the Loretto school auditorium.

The children along with the dignitaries were escorted to the auditorium with the school band led by Ashel Sequeira celebration began with the prayer. The inauguration was done by offering floral tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehaur’s portrait. The prize winners were awarded by the school pupil leaders and the dignitaries on the dais. Addressing the children, the PTA vice president Prakash Vas said that the day reminds us to be the responsible citizens of the country. Speaking to the children school correspondent Fr Francis Crasta congratulated the children and urged them to inculcate the values and form a bright future.

The teachers along with the students performed the cultural programme.

School principal Fr Jason Monis, asst in charge Anita Pais, school pupil leaders Vivek Pais, and Preethi Acharya were present on the dais. Philomena compered the programme. Pramila welcomed the gathering and Sr Agnes proposed the vote of thanks.
