The family members were sleeping after dinner at about 9 pm on Nov 14 at their residence at Sanur Padav when heavy rains coupled with lightning started at 9.30 pm. Till date lightening voltage is not measured and impossible to measure, but assumed millions of volt per strike. There is not 100% protection available or made for lightening strike. Even inside building or out side, but severity of lightening strike can be minimized by providing "good lightening earthing system" for the house/building.
