Bantwal: Bike skids, hits divider, rider succumbs in hospital

Bantwal, Nov 17: A bike skidded and hit the road divider at Ramalkatte of Thumbay village of the taluk on the night of November 9. The rider died as he was not wearing the helmet at the time of the accident.

Muzamil (18), a resident of Kallige, is the deceased youth. He was riding the bike without a registration number plate and was not wearing a helmet also on the night of November 9 when the mishap occurred.

Muzamil received severe head injuries after the bike hit the divider. He was taken to a private hospital in Mangaluru. However, he succumbed to the injury on Thursday, November 17.

A case in this connection is registered at Melkar police station.

    DK Police should scrutinize as He was riding the bike without a registration number plate . Further he was not wearing a helmet .It means he and his parents don't bother his live .

    Rajesh kotian Abudhabi I am sure he didnt even had licence.Such a dont care Policy.Parents have given a bike at this age to ride without nr.plate and Helmet.Must have gone to practice with high speed as per his age.Got the result in return.No regret no sympathy to such people.

    Bike with out number plate is the biggest threat in D. K. and Udipi areas why are police sleeping on this cases. In fact lot of two wheelers are running around this areas. It is a suspicious subject which has to be solved
