Mangaluru, Nov 23: Home minister Araga Jnanendra on Wednesday November 23 visited Purushottam Poojary, the auto river who suffered injuries in the cooker blast incident.
The minister enquired his well-being and personally handed over Rs 50,000 to his family.
Earlier in the day, the minister along with DGP Praveen Sood and others, visited the spot where the cooker bomb exploded in an auto rickshaw at Naguri.
It may be recalled, two people, auto driver Purushottam Poojary and suspected terrorist Mohammad Shariq who was carrying the cooker bomb, were injured in the incident on November 19.
