Beltangady: One dead, seven injured in SUV-KSRTC bus collision

Beltangady, Nov 24: In a ghastly road accident that occurred at Kudraya of Dharmasthala on Wednesday November 23, one died and seven people were injured.

The deceased is identified as Mahadeva (63), a native of Chennasandar of Mandya.

The 10 member family of Mandya, who were going to Dharmasthala, had parked their SUV on roadside near Kudraya and were alighting from the vehicle to go to a nearby shop. KSRTC bus which was going from Dharmasthala to Mysuru crashed onto the SUV as well as the people who were standing nearby.

Five women, a man and a child were seriously injured. They are admitted to a private hospital in Ujire.

Beltangady traffic police have registered a case.
