Mangaluru, Nov 25: An information workshop conducted by Karnataka State minority welfare department was held at the residence of bishop of Mangalore diocese on Friday, November 25.

The programme was presided over by Bishop Dr Peter Paul Saldanha. J Kennedy Shantha Kumar, chairman of Christian Development Committee (CDC) of Karnataka government was the chief guest.

Fr Maxim Noronha, vicar general, Roy Castelino, PRO of diocese, John D’Silva, secretary of central pastoral committee, Stany Lobo, president of Catholic Sabha, Joyal Mendonca, leader of community and Jinendra M Kotian, district officer of minority welfare department were on the dais.

Shantha Kumar was felicitated on the occasion. During the workshop, many ideas were exchanged and technical issues were also discussed.
