Mangaluru: Srinivas University celebrates Constitution Day

Mangaluru, Nov 26: Institute of Management and commerce and Institute of Port Shipping and Supply chain Management, Srinivas University has held Constitution Day celebration on November 26 at college premises. The objective of the programme was to inculcate constitutional obligations among students, to create awareness about constitution, to sensitise the students about importance of constitution day.

Nearly 450 students have actively participated in this programme. The students were guided by professor Keerthan Raj- dean of Institute of Management and Commerce. Dr Sonia Noronha – dean of Institute of Port Shipping and Supplychain Management, and other faculties of the department were present.

Joel Monteiro and Deeksha P, the student representative, read the preamble of Indian Constitution and helped the staff and students to repeat it. Students and staff understood the importance of the constitution day.
