Mangaluru: Srinivas University organizes Fresher's Day

Mangaluru, Nov 28: Freshers’ Day is a welcome party to newcomers and a gesture of extending the friendly atmosphere and to be motivating factor for juniors. The students of BBA Courses organised a Fresher’s Day 'AAGAMAN' for the juniors on November 16 at Srinivas premises.

A huge number of students from BBA Honours, BBA Logistics and Supply Chain Management, BBA Port, shipping management and Logistics, BBA Hospital Administration, BBA CMA, Public Administration, IB celebrated the college's Fresher’s Day. Professor Keerthan Raj, dean Institute of Management and Commerce, Dr Sonia Delrose Noronha, dean Institute of Port Shipping & Supply Chain Management, professor Nelson Periera, course coordinator of BBA Logistics and Supply Chain Management, professor A K Aneesh, course coordinator of BBA Honours, professor Sagar Srinivas, BBA Port, shipping management and Logistics and professor Kavyashree, course coordinator of BBA Hospital Administration, professor Shwetha P Bhat and professor Akshatha Eva Sampson, cultural coordinators were present on the occasion.

The programme began with an almighty prayer and the lighting of the lamp. Saritha and her team from III BBA opened the Fresher’s Day programme with a prayer. Cultural programmes followed thereby with various types of dance forms, songs and even Games were also conducted for the freshers. Finally, the programme came to a close, leaving behind lovely memories to be treasured for a lifetime. The occasion was graced by the presence of dean of both the institutions, course coordinators and all faculty members.
