Mangaluru: Srinivas University celebrates Constitution Day

Mangaluru, Nov 28: With the blessings of A Shama Rao, founder of Srinivas University, under the guidance of Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University and Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro chancellor of Srinivas University, Institute of Allied Health Science, Srinivas University, Mukka celebrated 'Constitution Day of India' on November 26 at Srinivas Campus, Mukka.

The chief guest for the day was Darshan G C (Educator for IAS study centre Yashas, Viveananda college Puttur) and guests of honour for the day were Dr Beena H B (dean, Institute of Allied Health Science) and professor Pavana Krishnamoorthy dean, Institute of Allied Health Sciences.

The programme began with invoking God’s blessing through a prayer song by Bhavya R Nayak assistant professor, department of Cardiovascular Technology and Nisha K R assistant professor, department of Clinical Psychology). The session was presided over by master of ceremonies Arpitha N assistant professor, department of Medical Laboratory Technology gave introduction about the programme, followed by welcome address by Dr Beena H B dean, Institute of Allied Health Science who welcomed the chief guest and dignitaries for the programme.

The chief guest, Darshan G C gave a wonderful talk on 'INDIA: THE MOTHER OF DEMOCRACY' and delivered the significance of constitutional values and also brought the awareness of importance of constitution.

The programme ended with Vote of thanks was rendered by Naveen B assistant professor, department of Medical Laboratory Technology. The gathering dispersed after the National Anthem.
