Mlore: CPI (M) holds Protest to Condemn Petrol Price Hike

Mangalore, May 18: The CPI (M) on Tuesday May 17, strongly condemned the UPA government for raising petrol price by Rs 5.

Calling it a cruel attack on the vast majority of the people, B Madhava, secretary, Dakshina Kannada district unit of CPIM said that the rising prices of petroleum products would further contribute to inflation and will affect the life of the people. He urged the government to curb the price of petroleum.

CPIM leaders Sanjeeva, Vasanth Achar, Yadava Shetty and Shekar among others were present.

The protestors shouted slogans against the rising price of petroleum products.

    Where are these people when prices of essential commodities were sky rocketing?
    Now it seems after WB & KERALA election results they realised the hike effect when common man least bothered about petrol price hike.
    These blody CPI(M) supports UPA because they don't like BJP and make a drama of holding protest to fool voters but not in public interest at all!
