Mangaluru, Dec 1: Annual week long camp of NSS unit of Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences for the academic year 2022-23 was held at Vamanjoor under the leadership of Lalukrishna, officer of NSS unit.

Hemalatha Raghu Salian, member of MCC and standing committee, Janet Pinto, head mistress of Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat higher primary school Tiruvail, Prof Pratijna Suhasini, principal of Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences, and Prof Geethalakshmi, vice principal of the college lighted the lamp and flagged off the event. President of SDMC Praveen K and NSS officer Lalukrishna were present.

In the weeklong programme personal hygiene, managing health in daily life, awareness about environment cleanliness, general blood test of children and eye test were held by lecturers of the organization and specialists.

Lecturers and students of the medical laboratory section, eye section, physiotherapy section took great initiative and made the students aware of health.

In the valedictory function, renowned magicial of magical journey Rajesh Mani and his children presented magic show. There were other entertainment programmes also. Various sports activities were held for children and prizes were distributed.
