Mangaluru, Dec 2: The Derik Chess School held two important chess events on November 1 and 13 at DCS Mangaluru. The events were DCS Kannada Rajothsava Blitz Chess Tournament and DCS Children’s Day Special Rapid Chess Tournament.
The student of St Agnes CBSE school Nidhi N of grade VIII D participated in the events and has scored 3 points in 5 rounds and placed best in L3 category. In another event she has scored 3.5 points in 5 rounds are placed fourth in non-Medallist girl’s category. She is a student of Derik Chess School.
The management, the administrator, the principal and staff are proud of her achievement and congratulated her and to her parents for their support and guidance.
