Sullia, May 19: Rama Shetty (43), working at Kaniyoor branch of Vijaya Bank near Bellare in the taluk, has succeeded in fulfilling his dream of passing SSLC examination. The feat came exactly after 28 years since he first appeared for the examination.
Shetty, who appeared for SSLC examination in 1983, had disappointment in store, when result was announced. He got frustrated, and never attempted to pass this examination. However, he got the inspiration to appear for the examination this year, and appeared for SSLC examination through a school in Bellare as a private candidate.
When the result was published, Shetty was ecstatic. He had passed SSLC examination in third class!
