When it is widely known about such type of robberies, why do these people carry so much amount of gold and cash and travel in public transport especially trains? It's their a well known fact that there are 'well organised" gangs operating in Konkan railway who are on the prowl for sitting ducks like this woman! I empathize with her loss!

I still dont understand why they are carrying so much gold or valueables on a journey ,knowing that its dangerous .Now valueables are stolen ,but they are moving about without gold.So better simply travel with out gold and without stress. Were they insured ?Then no problem .but without insurance they have no chance to get it back from Insurance.
