Mangalore: Workshop on Konkani Devotional Singing, Rhymes from May 20 to 22

Mangalore, May 19: Under the aegis of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy and Swarasri Kala Vedike, a three-day workshop on Konkani devotional singing and rhymes will be held at Nalanda School, V T Road, here from Friday May 20 to Sunday May 22 between 9.30 am to 2.30 pm.

Mandd Sobhann gurkar Eric Ozario will inaugurate the workshop, here at 10.00 am on Friday.

Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy president Kundapur Narayan Kharvi will preside over the programme.

The state Konkani Education Institutions chief secretary Dr K Mohan Pai will be the chief guest. Vasanti R Nayak will be the camp director and Puttur Pandurang Nayak will be the assistant camp director.

Vasanti Shenoy Udupi will be the resource person.
