Mangaluru: Bharathanjali's two-day dance festival ‘Nrithyaambudhi’ held

Mangaluru, Dec 5: Bharathanjali Kottara Mangaluru organised a two-day national level Indian classical dance festival Nrithyaambudhi here on December 3 at Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall. 

Naatyacharya Guru Ullal Mohan Kumar inaugurated the Nrithyaambudhi programme along with other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Ullal Mohan Kumar said, “Everyone should view dance and listen to music. My students are giving programmes at various places.”

He wished success to everyone.

Vidwan Nagesh A Bappanaadu also spoke on the occasion.

Corporator Kiran Kodikal and assistant director of Kannada and Culture Department Rajesh G were also present. Former state president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat Harikrishna Poonaruru presided.

Honorary president P Mahabala Chowta, Guru Prathima Shridhar, Shridhar Holla and others were present.

The second day of the dance festival will be held next Saturday on December 10.
