Udupi: Pedestrian dies as car hits him

Udupi, Dec 7: A man, who was standing near the divider of the road, was hit by a moving car and died in the hospital near Padubidri.

Krishna D (63) was waiting to cross road and go to his house at Ermalu Pondadu. A car which was going towards Mangaluru hit him due to the negligence of the driver.

Krishna who received grievous injuries on his head, hand, and legs was taken to private hospital in Kaup. He died while he was being taken to district hospital at Udupi.
