Mangaluru: Prestige International School, PU College conducts Annual Fete Enthusia

Mangaluru, Dec 10: Prestige International School and PU College had organised its school fete Enthusia on Sunday, December 4 at its school campus in Jeppina Mogeru.

The inaugural function started off with great enthusiasm with the release of the doves by the chief guest Aravind Bolar, actor and comedian, guests of honour Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, actor and comedian, actress Navya Poojari, Corporator Veena Mangala and Ruksana Hassan.

The inaugural function was hosted by VJ Dixon who entertained the guests on the open stage at Prestige International School grounds.

The chief guest Aravind Bolar appreciated the philanthropic event of donating the proceedings of the school fete Enthusia towards charity.

The school fete was organised under the guidance of Prestige International School and PU College chairman Hyder Ali, supported by the main sponsors City Gold and Diamonds and Presidency builders, Mangaluru.

Prestige International School held a very festive look with plenty of stalls for various games, entertainment and food stalls. Students guided by the school principal Feroza Fayaaz and PU principal Sindhu Sedhu, the teaching and non-teaching staff including Shameer Ahmed, career guidance counsellor, decorated and set up game stalls along with 55 other stalls of treats, merchandise, crafts, scary house show, outdoor games and pool games.

The whole school as a team were involved in running these stalls very efficiently by putting their heart and soul, as the sale proceeds of the day would be contributed towards the betterment of society. It is also a gala time for the parents and the ex-students to meet and to rejuvenate their sweet memories of their good old days. Along with the games and exhibits, many participated in the cultural and literary competitions held in the school building and the auditorium.

The competitions were judged by eminent panellists of celebrities like Anoop Sagar, Rajesh Kannur, Navya Poojari and Prashanth Kadiyali. The open stage had many entertainers such as the dance crew of VJ Dixon and the fabulous Zumba session by Shaan.

The festivities reached its zenith at the twilight hours, when the Raffle draw was held in the valedictory program of Enthusia which was graced by the chief guest U T Khader, MLA, Mangalore Constituency and guest of honour Anoop Sagar and hosted by MC Viola.

Three prizes - gold coin, washing machine, mobile phone and 20 consolation prizes were given to the Raffle draw winners, which were picked by the chief guest and guests of honour. The branch manager of the main sponsors City Gold and Diamonds Ahmed Hafeez had arranged a surprise lucky draw and the winner was gifted with a diamond ring.

The evening programme culminated with the gifting of the cheque of one lac rupees to Lions Seva Kendra, Surathkal as the contribution given by Prestige International School & PU College towards charity.

The colourful and jam packed Enthusia-2022 event has proven to be a great success as the participation of the school community and the public has resulted in a beautiful day of fun and festivities with the promotion of social awareness.
