Mangaluru, Dec 12: Arati Shanbhag, assistant professor and dean, department of Business Administration has been awarded PhD for her thesis titled 'A Study on Issues, Challenges and Marketing Strategies Adopted in New Product Promotion of Private Life Insurance Sector: A Comparative Analysis' by Mangalore University, Mangalagangothri.

She was successfully guided by Dr Y Muniraju, department of Commerce, Mangalore University.

She is the proud daughter of Suvarna Shanbhag and Prakash Shanbhag and wife of Manojkumar Sharma.
