Mangaluru: General Councillor Sr Ancilla visits Mount Carmel Central School

Mangaluru, Dec 14: The fraternity of Mount Carmel Central School welcomed Sr Ancilla A C, general councillor for Education of the Apostolic Carmel, to the school on December 14.

Sr Ancilla spent a day interacting with the students, Carmel Blossoms, Cabinet leaders and the faculty.

The staff interaction programme commenced with the school prayer song, invoking the blessings of our patroness Mary, Mother of Carmel. The principal, Sr Melissa extended a loving welcome to Sr Ancilla and articulated her joy to have her in the school. She introduced Sr Ancilla and expressed how the management’s visit stimulated the feeling of the Apostolic Carmel family that exists at Mount Carmel Central School.

Sr Ancilla, during her interactive session, greeted the staff and regarded the school as a New Gen Institution, a place where the youth educate and reform the younger generation. Highlighting the Apostolic Carmel stamp of Education and a sense of togetherness at the Apostolic Carmel Congregation, Sr Ancilla motivated the staff to express the significant factors that brings about the feeling of family at Mount Carmel.

Elucidating the concept of history and heritage, she focused on how the heritage of the Apostolic Carmel comprises of its tradition, culture and values upholding the faith in Divine.

Further, she illuminated the audience about Authentic Leadership through Simon Sineks Ted Talks. She elaborated on the four aspects that every leader must have, that primarily begins with right purpose, right energy, right intellect and right values. In conclusion, she wished well to every staff, in their career as a teacher.

Teacher Shaila Crasta proposed a vote of thanks. The interactive session concluded with a heightened feeling of family and partnership in every staff present, followed by refreshments.
