Mangaluru: GFGC Kavoor organizes special lecture on Prevention of Crime

Mangaluru, Dec 22: The National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross and the Student Parishad jointly organized a talk on Prevention of Crime to Create awareness among the youth on December 17.

Sub Inspector of Kavoor Police Station, Prathibha K H was the resource person. She informed the students that the widespread use of mobile devices that enable Internet access increases the exposure of both individuals and organisations to cybercrime. The students should be aware of the crimes that are taking place in society and should contact the nearest police station if such a crime occurs. Dr Geetha M L, head of the department of Commerce and incharge principal presided over the function.

Krithika welcomed the gathering. Sneha N S proposed vote of thanks. Megha anchored the programme. NSS Programme officer Mohini, Youth Red Cross officer Rekha S N and Student Welfare officer Dr Santhosh Pinto Shirthady organized the programme.
