The Jeppu Seminary was blessed with some of the finest priests, and we are sure that Fr. Nelson will also be an added gift and blessing to the Parish that we always loved and adored. Jeppu Seminary has always brought back some of the nostalgic memories, memories that make us feel so humble and also proud because we grew up in the Church, in addition to Valencia Parish, with all the family values, Christian values and secular Indian values. The Jesuits have left behind some of the strong foundations of Catholic faith added with a sense of belonging to the native land that we attach so much of importance from a distance, in our daily of struggles.

Jeppu Church has produced some of the legendary priests such as Fr.John D'Souza, Fr.Pais, Fr.Veigas, Fr. Maakri, Fr. Bellary, Fr. Paazi, Fr. Angelitto, Brother Nalatto and many many others thru whose leadership the Jeppu Seminary has turned into a vibrant Parish.

Jeppu Church also possessed a wonderful choir. Even some of the church Sacristans had a voice of Mohd. Raffi. Some of the ladies sang like Lata Mangeshkhar and Asha Bhonsle. The Seminary Band was the "best in town".

Those were the days of Jeppu Church still remembered and cherished. Welcome, Fr. Nelson Almeida, to the House of St. Joseph, and may you remain happy and successful in your new assignment at Jeppu Parish, the home and place of happy neighbourhood that we shall always remain grateful.
