Mangaluru, Dec 25: Former MLA and leader of the Congress party Moiuddin Bawa called on Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai who arrived as chief guest here to attend the international cultural Jamboori programme being held at Moodbidri Alvas.

The MLA requested the chief minister to pay a suitable compensation to the family of Jaleel who was murdered by miscreants in Surathkal on Saturday night.
