Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE school organises Presentation of Live Crib, Carol Singing

Mangaluru, Dec 27: As the joy of Christmas is being spread throughout the world, it was time to invite the students of St Agnes CBSE school to welcome Christ and shower the spirit of Christmas this season. To mark this occasion, a live crib and carol singing event was organised for the students of grade VI to X on December 20. The students exhibited their talents with perfection and uniqueness in spreading the Christmas message.

Neil Benedict Rasquinha a consultant at Star Health and also team head of SOL-MELOS Music Band and Donald Preetam Henry lecturer in Biology at Yenepoya PU college and founder of Strings Music were the two eminent guests who were invited as judges for the event.

The event was organised for students of grade VI to X. Each performance was more mesmerising than the other. The carols which were sung in numerous languages added beauty to the ambiance of the event not to miss the unique set of instruments which were used by the students such as Clap box, Table thump, Roll up Drums adding more beauty to the theme.

Sr Edna Furtado AC the school administrator congratulated all students for their excellent performance. She shared a few thoughts on the importance of Christmas and the real meaning of spreading joy.

The programme was compered by Ganya and Sanvitha. The guests and gathering were given a hearty welcome by Nidhi. The vote of thanks was proposed by Kanya. The management congratulated the principal and staff for organising this meaningful event and wished all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
