Beltangady, Dec 30: Christmas Sauharda Vedike – 2022 programme organized by Christa Raja ward of Holy Redeemer Church of the town was held at Renkedaguthu.
The programme was inaugurated by Dn Joel Preetam Rego by lighting the lamp. He also gave the introductory speech. Tiny children did the welcome dance.
Chief guests Fr Clifford Pinto, Ganesh Aithaal and Mohammed Issac Al Fazil Kausiri informed the public about the harmony between different religions.
Jayananda Gowda, vice president of Beltangady Pattana Panchayat was present on the occasion and extended his wishes.
Pauline Rego, Sr Leena D’Souza, Philip D’Souza and Juliet Pais were on the dais.
Philip D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Walter Moniz rendered vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Cicilia Fernandes.
Members of the ward presented drama and dance.
