Mangaluru: Cooker blast case - Renovation work on injured auto driver Purushotham's house begins

Mangaluru, Dec 30: The renovation of the house belonging to Purushotham Poojary who was injured in the recent pressure cooker explosion in his auto and is now recuperating in a hospital began amidst religious rituals under the leadership of Gurubeladingalu Foundation. The work is being conducted with the cooperation of the Billava Brigade.

Gurubeladingalu Foundation president Padmaraj R, engineer Divaraj, Billava brigade honorary president Sadananda Poojary, Sooraj Kumar Kalya, president Avinash, social activist Dilraj Alva, Gejjegiri block vice-president Ravi Chilimbi, spokesperson Rajendra, Chilimbi contractor Bharath Ram, Kankanady Billava Sangha’s Jaya Poojary, Rajesh Suvarna Bantwal, Sunil Kumar, wife of Purushotham Poojary, children and family members were present.

Purushotham Poojary had expressed his disappointment when Beladingalu Foundation president Padmaraj R and his team had called on him in the hospital that his dream to renovate his house before the wedding of his daughter in May, 2023 could not be a reality.

Padmaraj had then assured him that the responsibility to renovate Purushottam's house would be shouldered by Gurubeladingalu Foundation.
