Udupi: Suresh Nayak Elected APMC Tauk Prez, Bhaskar Shetty VP

Udupi, May 28: K Suresh Nayak and Bhaskar Shetty were elected as the president and vice-president of the taluk Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee unanimously here on Saturday May 28.

Tahsildar Prasanna was the election officer. The taluk has in all 16 seats out of which three are government-nominated.

Speaking after the election, Nayak said that he aims at the development of the market. He also intends to improve and continue fairs at the rural market, he added,

MLA raghupati Bhat, zilla panchayat preisdent Katpady Shanker Poojary, ZP Working Committee Upendra Nayak and APMC general secretary Narasimhamurthy were present.
