Kasargod, Jan 6: In a shocking incident that occurred on Thursday January 5 at a state level school art utsava held at Kozhikode, organizers of the event insulted the art of Yakshagana.

The organizers who barged into the Chowki Pooja, which is held before the Yakshagana play is presented, put off the lamp that was lit in front of the idol of Lord Ganapati.

The organizers did not allow the media, so the act of putting off the light could not be recorded. However, a complaint was filed in this regard with the police. The cops convinced the artistes and made them present the Yakshagana play.
