Mangaluru: Carmel School celebrates New Year

Mangaluru, Jan 6: The new year programme was held at Carmel School on January 2 by the students of class III A.

The programme began with the prayer service, followed by a welcome dance. 

The importance of the day was highlighted by Medansh, Vaibhavi, Disha and Shravani.

An entertainment dance was performed by students of class III and a skit was enacted on the theme 'New Year Resolution'.

The school coordinator Sr Shanthi Laveena in her message enlightened the students about the need to take a pledge in order to shape their future.

Thooba Abdul Qayyum and Ameen Muhammed Ibrahim compered the programme. The vote of thanks was proposed by Devanandha Vinod.
