Bantwal: 56-year-old falls to death from tree

Bantwal, Jan 6: A man fell down from a tree and died at Saradka, Kepu village here.

The deceased is identified as Keshava Naika (56), a resident of Machina, Beltangady taluk.

He had been working as a gardener by staying in the house of a farmer at Saradka. He had climbed a jackfruit tree when he accidentally slipped and fell to the ground. He was rushed to Vittal community health centre but the doctor examined and declared him dead.

A case in this connection is registered at Vittal police station on the basis of a complaint lodged by Jagadish, the brother of the deceased.
