Mangalore, May 29: Mandd Sobhann, a city-based Konkani organization that is striving to promote Konkani and its distinct culture worldwide will be staging Kistu Puran, Konkani comedy play as one-hundred-fourteenth monthly theater at Kalaangann, Shaktinagar, here at 6.00 pm on Sunday June 5.

John Permannur is the playwright and director of Kistu Puran, Konkani comedy play performed by the artistes of Mandd drama troupe.

Floyd D’Mello Cascia, Clita Noronha Jeppu, Roshni Goveas Cordel, Alwyn Miranda Jeppu, Nelvita Noronha Jeppu and Odit Morera Jeppu will be the artistes enact the roles in Kistu Puran.

Somanat Sankolige will be the music director and make-up artiste.

NRI entrepreneur and first World Konkani Cultural Convention chairman Ronald Colaco will release the souvenir of first World Konkani Cultural Convention during the programme.

The distribution ceremony of certificates to the participants of Naach Workshop – 2011 will be held on the occasion.
