Beltangady, May 31: Farming is profitable venture that promotes well being, if it’s done with full devotion and love, said Mahabaleshwar Bhat, principal of Siddavana Gurukula.

Mahabaleshwar Bhat was speaking at the valedictory function of six-day training programme on dairy farming, which was held at RUDSET Institute, Ujire, here on Monday May 30.

RUDSET Institute director M K S Prabhu welcomed the gathering and briefed on the training programme. The lecturer James proposed the vote of thanks. Anasuya compered the programme.

Thirty-four people from Hassan district participated in the training programme.
